East Midlands Junior Mini Series Events 2023

The regional series is open to athletes between the ages of 8 & 16 (age as of December 31st 2023)

To be entered automatically for the East Midlands Junior Race Series individual league you MUST have East Midlands as the region shown on your home nation membership card.  To attain points for your club, your club name must also be shown on your home nation membership card. 

 

There are five age classifications for 2023 based on year of birth. Age for each group are as of 31st December 2023:

• TriStar Stars: 8 years old (born 2015)
• TriStar 1: 9-10 years old (born 2013 / 2014)
• TriStar 2: 11-12 years old (born 2011 / 2012)
• TriStar 3: 13-14 years old (born 2009 / 2010)
• Youth: 15-16 years old (born 2007 / 2008)

Overall positions for 2023 in the Series will be based on points, the winning athlete in each category being awarded 1000, points are then awarded based on the time difference behind the winning time, not just positions.

Currently we have 7 confirmed Events in the Junior Race Series.

If you are not already a home nation (Triathlon England) member and wish to join or wish to renew please do so before the first event of the series.  When you join or if you have already joined please ensure that you put East Midlands down for your home region, this assists when points are added to the standings.

Points WILL NOT be back dated.

Please ensure, when athletes complete race entry forms they use the same name (in full) that is displayed on their Home Nations Membership Card and their Membership Number is included.  This ensures that the points are allocated to the correct athlete.
