Saturday 26th September
Absolute Tri Club are hosting the first Tristar and Youth Triathlon at the brand new Harvey Hadden Sports Village in Nottingham. They will be using 25m of the 50m pool with the ability to use the 8 lane pool to start waves of 16 athletes at a time and the purpose built tarmac cycle race track to create the conditions for a really competitive race. East Midlands Academy
Congratulations and welcome to Luke Watson, who has now been appointed the new Head Coach for the East Midlands Academy.
A big thank you to Steve Casson, for all his hard work and efforts over the past few years. Steve is now full- time with the Paralympic team going for gold at Rio.
East Midlands Academy trial details are attached. The selection trials will take place on Sunday 13th September for those between 14 and 19 years in 2016, who fulfil the application criteria. Information and application attached.
Dates for the Diary
6th September - Inter-Regional Championships at Mallory Park - come support your regional team and soak in the atmosphere of the under 20s festival. Lots to see, lots to learn, lots of fun.
13th September - East Midlands Academy trials - information attached.
25th October 15 East Midlands AGM and Series Presentations. This will be held at Kegworth Village Hall, Nottingham Rd, Kegworth, Derby DE74 2EH. 1:30 for AGM & 2:15 - 4pm for the awards. Venue is 1 mile for the M! and close to East Mids airport. Everybody is welcome to come.
